Eye Exams, Vision Therapy |
Eye Exams Our eye exam tests more than 20/20 eyesight. The Snellen fractions (20/20, 20/100, etc.) are measures of sharpness or clarity of sight (visual acuity). 20/20 just means that at a distance of twenty feet a person can see clearly a certain size of letter on the eye chart. | Vision Therapy Vision therapy is a term that describes a number of procedures that stimulate vision, and enhance visual skills that allow effortless, efficient vision. Many of these procedures have been with us since the late nineteenth and the early twentieth centuries. | Contact Lenses Dr. Thompson fits contact lenses for all ages, from children to seniors. Even though contacts are not for everyone, there is a wide range of prescriptions and materials available. We offer contacts for those who are farsighted, shortsighted (myopic), and have astigmatism. | Eye Wear Dr. Thompson offers the same quality and attention to detail in the lenses and frames, that he provides in his comprehensive eye exams. People are pleasantly surprised that our eye wear fees are competitive with chains with the bonus of receiving friendly service. | Computers & Vision Common complaints made by people affected by Computer Vision Syndrome:
Headaches
Blurred vision
Eyestrain
Itching, dry or watery, burning eyes
Tired eyes
Flickering sensations
Double vision
