Lisa Bender-Dionne, RMT, has been practicing Massage Therapy since 1998. She has extensive knowledge in rehabilitation, prenatal, and sports massage.
Lisa specifically addresses injuries while co-treating with physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, and other massage therapists. Through her work, Lisa became interested in the benefits of Pilates and the blending of Massage Therapy and Pilates to help clients achieve optimum health and wellness. She has since become a STOTT?¢ç Certified Pilates Instructor, using her Massage Therapy background to focus on rehabilitation.
Lisa opened her studio in 2002, offering STOTT?¢ç Pilates training and Massage Therapy. As more and more clients experienced the benefits of these two disciplines, she expanded her facility. |

Pilates A one-on-one introductory session is recommended, but not required, to assess your needs. This session is designed to help you to begin to create an awareness of your deep torso muscles and establish a foundation in the basics of Pilates. | Introductory Matwork - Duration: 60 minutes The Introductory Matwork class teaches the five basic principles of STOTT PILATES. The exercises taught help to build the strong foundation required to move on to the next level. This mat-based workout is designed to aid in developing longer, leaner muscles, establish core strength and stability. | Essential Matwork - Duration: 60 minutes In the Essential Matwork classes, you will continue to progress through Essential level exercises. Small equipment including stability balls, resistance bands, foam rollers, fitness circles, mini balls, and weighted balls are used to challenge you. | Intermediate Matwork - Duration: 60 minutes For an added challenge, Matwork classes at the Intermediate level will take you through a dynamic full-body workout, stretching and toning all muscle groups and focusing on improving flexibility and core strength. Small equipment introduced in the Essential class is used here at a more challenging. | Group Reformer - Duration: 60 minutes This class will teach clients how to apply the basic principles of STOTT PILATES on the Reformer and how to adjust the Reformer for each individual. Participants will get an invigorating total body workout, progressing from the Essential to Intermediate level. The pace is moderate, yet challenging. | Circuit Training - Duration: 60 minutes This non-stop Circuit Training class alternates between exercises on the mat, Reformer, Stability Chair, BOSU, Foam Roller and other small equipment. This class is suited to those who are accomplished in Essential level mat exercises and are familiar with the Reformer and Stability Chair. | Teen Pilates - Duration: 60 minutes Introducing Pilates at an early age creates body awareness and develops skills and techniques that improve focus and strengthen the body, preventing injury during other activities. Teen Pilates is a mat-based workout that teaches the five basic principals of STOTT PILATES. | Physiotherapy Kirsti Horvath is a registered physiotherapist and a Certified STOTT Pilates Instructor for Matwork and Reformer. She has been teaching Pilates classes for the past two years. Many clients with neck, shoulder and lower back pain, attend Pilates classes as a treatment for their injuries. | Relexology Reflexology is a therapy that aims to improve our general health and sense of well being by promoting the body's ability to heal, adjust, and balance, especially during stressful times. It uses focused pressure to manipulate reflexes in your feet, sending your body's own healing. |
