Parkview Transit was established in 1974, operating originally in Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada. In 1977, the company was contracted by the York Region Roman Catholic Separate School Board to provide a bus service to schools in the York Region. Parkview Transit was purchased by Canadex Resources Ltd. in 1989 and continued to expand through acquisitions in the Collingwood and Caledon regions. Presently, the company employs 25 full time staff and over 300 full and part time drivers. Parkview has over 300 public vehicles in its fleet. |
