Liptons Home Entertainment began in 1983. Originally named Lipton's Electronics, it was started by Lindsay and Tricia Lipton. The goal from the very beginning, was to offer Newmarket and area residents big-city quality, selection and expertise in all forms of home electronics, and all the while, maintain the convenience and friendliness of the small town of Newmarket This concept was extremely well received, and Lipton's quickly became known as THE place for both home and car electronics in the region. Growth continued, as Lipton's added more exclusive lines, including Paradigm, SONY XBR, Denon, B&W, Rotel, and other upmarket high performance brands, previously unavailable in the area. |
