Laura?€¢âs Dream Bridal came into existence in 1987. After sewing some bridesmaids dresses for a friend I was asked to do small hats to complement the dresses. This lead to other friends asking to have things done and passing the word around to others . The creation of a copy of a mothers headpiece from the 1950?€¢âs lead me to the unique styling that I create now.
From 1987-1993 I did multiple bridal shows and created headpieces, some gowns and accessories for over 250 Brides from my home studio while raising my family. In 1993 I went to Sheridan college and graduated with a High Honours Fashion Technique and Design Diploma. From there I went to work with my husband at his software company doing office management.... this was definitely not for me. |
