The Kai-Shin Karate Association was founded in 1967, under the leadership of Sensei Monty Guest (6th Dan). Sensei Guest?€¢âs participation and contribution to Karate dates back to 1961 when he was the former Head Instructor for Tsuruoka Sensei (the father of Canadian Karate). Kai-Shin Karate practices the Chito Ryu style of Karate, as taught by Chitose Sensei (10th Dan) and Tsuruoka Sensei (9th Dan). The 'Chito Ryu' style is a 'traditional' Japanese system. It stresses moral character above all benefits. |
