The Jobs 2000 Career Advancement Centre is based on the highly successful Job Finding Club model first conceived in 1973. Jobs 2000 produced a placement rate of 90% in its pilot group.
The Job Finding Club model is founded on two central principles:
1. Job seekers can function more independently and with greater effectiveness in their job search without reliance on government employment services.
2. Finding employment is in itself a full time job, and is more easily accomplished when the job seeker is part of a group of similarly motivated people. |
