Dental hygienists are dental professionals who are trained at university or college to perform certain intra-oral procedures in dental offices. In our office, they will be placing braces, changing wires, taking x-rays and impressions, inserting appliances and removing braces under Dr. Hurd?€¢âs direction and supervision.
Dental Assistants: Tammy, Valerie, Wendy, Lin and Natalie. Dental assistants have completed college courses and trained to assist chairside and take x-rays. Lin and Tammy have also completed their PDA diploma which also enables them to take impressions and polish teeth for the placement of bands and brackets by the hygienists. Administration: Karen, Colleen and Angela. Our front desk personnel are thoroughly knowledgeable about orthodontics. |
