Dobos Torta
When hearing about Hungary, people often think first of goulash soup. The Dobos cake would surely come a close second for many Europeans. This is a traditional pastry which enjoys many names, from the Austrian-sounding Beigli, to the Hungarian "Patko" (meaning 'horseshoe'). To a Hungarian, Christmas without beigli would be unimaginable! | ??z Gerinc
