The Alda Ligita Heniss School of Classical Ballet Ltd. is in its 33rd year in Brampton. As recognition for its standard in dance education, the school received, in 1989, official recognition by the Federal Government of Canada qualifying the Alda Ligita Heniss School of Classical Ballet as an Educational Institution.

PRE-BALLET
Pre-Ballet classes are specially developed for children 3 and 5 years of age. In this class students are introduced to the world of dance and music. It is a free-style dance movement class where the students develop both mental and physical co-ordination, a sense of rhythm and self expression. | CLASSICAL BALLET
Ballet classes are offered to students six years of age and over. | Jazz
This is a dance technique that develops strength and flexibility. The class introduces the student to rock, ethnic and musical comedy form of movement as seen on the Broadway stage. Jazz emphasizes rhythm and isolation movements. | Tap
Tap is a dance form that develops a student's strength, co-ordination and rhythic style. Tap is an artistic dance form that is characterized by precision of movement, style and grace and is used mostly in musicals. | Modern Dance
Modern Dance is offered to students 10 years of age and over and allows freedom of expression while learning a set technique emphasizing strength, balance and endurance. | Hip Hop
Move to the sound of R&B, techno and Rap. Learn the moves from the latest music videos and favourite recording artists. | Lyrical
Lyrical is a form of dance that meshes ballet and jazz to tell a story through movement and facial expression. It ranges from soft fluid movement to sharp and intense to portray various emotions to mimic the lyrics of a song. | Musical Theater
Musical theatre classes combine voice, drama and dance studies of various musical productions. | Acro
Combines athletic agility, flexibility, balance, control and strength with the gracefulness of ballet, modern and jazz to create artistic illusions. | Exams
Students are encouraged and given the opportunity to take examinations in ballet, tap, jazz modern and acro given by the Performing Arts Educators of Canada. |
