It all started with a trip to the market, in an old station wagon.
In the mid-seventies, Fun Time Travel Company founder, Charlene Groat, assembled a group of her sorority sisters and guided an excursion to the Farmer's Market, in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. She enjoyed the experience of getting people together and having a lot of fun so much, she made a business of it!
Before long, as Charlene's friends brought more of their friends along for these great adventures, she needed a van. By 1980, Charlene had to move up again, and the first Fun Bus was born! While operations began modestly in Charlene's dining room, business expanded rapidly. Today, just the sign over Fun Time Travel's Oshawa location is as large as their original office! |
