She has conducted major research projects on HRDC Employment Insurance Regimes, the Foreign Domestic Worker Program. Her dissertation project, a critical ethnography and participatory action research project examined the corporeal, cognitive and social psychological transformations of woman around and about the menopause for her dissertation project. A key focus of the research was the secular rituals that these women celebrate for young women at the menarche, birthing and stillbirth, and for themselves at the menopause.
