In 1964, Dr. Watson returned home from Optometry School and practiced with Dr. Freeman in Burlington. A year later, he set out on his own at Wellington Square. He stayed in that Brant Street location until 1975, when Dr. Nancy Wilson, joined him. The need for more space brought them up to Fairview Street, their present location. Dr. Wilson, brought her expertise in contact lens fitting and a love for working with the elderly. The years have passed, with them came many changes, new technologies, lens materials, and testing procedures. In 2001, with Dr. Watson, looking at slowing down, he brought in Dr. Mark Germain, who had recently returned from graduate studies and teaching in Missouri. He brings experience in Low Vision and Pediatrics. Later that year, Dr. Germain took over the practice. |

Contact Lenses, Ratinal Photography |
Contact Lenses New materials for soft and gas permeable lenses. The newest soft lens is a silicone hydrogel, which breathes incredibly and is so comfortable, it is like not even having a lens on. We are recommending it for all our new patients and it is now available in a monthly disposable. | Ratinal Photography New technology enables us to take detailed pictures of the back of eye such as the one seen above. | Lunettes One of our suppliers, Silhouette, has perfected frameless glasses. They are light, flexible, sturdy, and fashionable. We have all three doctors wearing them and are pleased with their performance and look. | Children We would like to see your children when they turn two. If you suspect problems earlier than this or have a remarkable family history, please bring them in sooner. |
